Fall Foliage Tour 2002 Shoreline Trolley Museum |
This year .we picked the Shoreline Trolley Museum located in Branford Ct. The right of way has been in service since 1900 and the exisiting property and right of way was turned into a museum in 1947, after being purchased from the Conneticuit Railway, which ran local trolley service throughout the state.

Jeff Green's 1953 Champion parked next to a (TARS) Third Avenue Railyay 600 Series car. This car saw service all over New York City, from Manhattan to Yonkers, the Bronx to lower Manhattan After WWII all of these cars were shipped to Vienna Austria to rebuild their destoyed transit system. In 1967 Vienna offerd these cars back to anyone who wanted them in the US. |

A 1956 Golden Hawk meets an Inspection car from the Conneticut Railway Company. During the summer months this car is used for evening dinner rides. |
